Arrival from Pisa airport:
On the  in direction Grosseto - Roma until the end of the highway in Rosignano. Then speedway "Variante Aurelia"  direction Roma.

Travel through Switzerland :
Highway  past Como, just before Milano turn right towards Milano  after 4 km diversion direction Cesano Boscone – Piacenza - Parma, first  until San Giuliano Milano, then  approx. 10 km before Parma diversion in direction La Spezia – Genova – Livorno - Roma  until shortly before La Spezia, diversion in direction Rosignano – Grosseto - Roma  passed Pisa, shortly before Livorno in direction Rosignano – Grosseto - Roma  until the end of the highway in Rosignano. Then speedway "Variante Aurelia"  direction Roma.

Travel through Austria above the „Brenner“:
Highway  through Verona and Mantova until shortly before Modena diversion in direction Parma- Milano  approx. 10 km after Parma diversion in direction La Spezia- Genova – Livorno - Roma until shortly before La Spezia, diversion in direction Rosignano – Grosseto - Roma  passed Pisa, shortly before Livorno in direction Rosignano - Grosseto - Roma   until the end of the highway in Rosignano. Then speedway "Variante Aurelia"  direction Roma.

Please drive as here explained. Your GPS will possibly give you the description through Bologna. This is in fact shorter but a horrible way to drive, with a lot of traffic and construction areas.
